We are a couple seeking to swap our house in Phuket for a period from 3 weeks or longer during the period from May – October. We ideally seek to swap for a small house or flat in or close to London but we will also consider homes in Italy, Australia and the USA.

Our House

Two Storey, 150 square meters , 2 bedroom House,  2 Bathrooms

Spectacular sea views located approximately 100 meters above Ao Yon Beach, Cape Panwa. 

Our house is not a “luxury”  “villa”  and was built before such houses became more commonplace in Phuket.  However, it really does have a real “million dollar view” and is a very comfortable home with all modern conveniences including a 51”  Flat Screen TV, DVD, Cable TV, Wi-Fi.  Our semi open kitchen has all the essentials;  fridges, cooker, oven, toaster, pots, pans and full set of cockery, glasses, etc

It benefits from a House Cleaning service 2 mornings per week, at no extra cost .  Laundry service as required at small extra cost.

Our Neighborhood

Ao Yon is  small, mixed community of local Thais and long time western expats on Cape Panwa.  There are only a few restaurants and bars in the immediate area including http://www.shipinnphuket.com  so this area is ideal for visitors who DO NOT want a noisy bustling night life right on their doorstep.

However, there is a lively nightlife in Phuket Town (10-15 minutes by car) where you will also find excellent Western and Thai restaurants.  Alternatively, at the end of Cape Panwa in the area around the Phuket Aquaruim (approx 5-8 minutes by car ) there is a small tourist centre with various restaurants and bars including those listed at http://www.capepanwa.com/activities.html  (which also includes some very good general advice on our area with places to visit nearby)

By following the above links you will see that in general, the tourist scene in and around Cape Panwa is increasingly high end with the vast majority of visitors seeking peace and relaxation. 

The Beach

Ao Yon Beach is a secluded and quiet beach which benefits from being South facing which means it’s a safe place to swim virtually every day of the year. (Unlike the West coast beaches which can be dangerous for swimming May–October).

Either a  Honda Jazz or Mazda 2 can be included in the swap by arrangement

The Cats

We have three cats who stay mostly outside.  While they are low maintenance, our swap partner MUST like cats (or at least not dislike them ) and be prepared to feed them etc although we have friends nearby who can help out if you a away.
